Binance, the cryptocurrency exchange, has resumed accepting registrations and granting access to its suite of products and services in Belgium.
This decision comes three months after the Financial Services and Markets Authority (FSMA) instructed the exchange to cease its operations in the country.
In a recent tweet on Monday, Binance announced that various products and services are once again available to Belgian users who have agreed to the updated Terms of Use.
Back in June, the FSMA had mandated the suspension of Binance’s services to clients in Belgium, citing a violation of prohibitions due to the exchange providing services from a location outside the European Economic Area.
In response to this regulatory action, Binance subsequently stated its intention to serve Belgian users through its subsidiary entity, Binance Poland, which is based within the European Economic Area.
