Crypto influencer Ben Armstrong, widely recognized as BitBoy Crypto, found himself in a dramatic turn of events as he was apprehended on a Monday evening during a live YouTube broadcast.
The incident unfolded when Armstrong had initially planned to confront an individual by the name of Carlos Diaz with the intention of reclaiming his Lamborghini. However, things took an unexpected and tumultuous turn as the situation devolved into a frenzy of conspiracy theories before law enforcement stepped in.
In a live stream that has since been removed, Armstrong uttered these startling words: “If Carlos Diaz emerges from his residence and attempts to harm me live on YouTube, then we must face whatever fate awaits, Carlos.” It’s noteworthy that Armstrong had posted a tweet just hours prior, hinting at going live from a “particularly significant location” on YouTube.
It’s crucial to mention that back in August, the BitBoy Crypto platform had distanced itself from its own founder, Ben Armstrong.
Subsequently, Armstrong took to a different platform to implore his followers for support in financing his legal campaign to regain control of BitBoy Crypto. At present, donations exceeding $54,000 have been contributed to his Ethereum (ETH/USD), Bitcoin (BTC/USD), and Cardano (ADA/USD) wallet addresses.
During the live broadcast, Armstrong remarked, “This is the perspective of someone who has lived in constant fear for his safety for far too long…I’ll gladly await the arrival of the authorities.” When questioned by the police about the individual accompanying him in the vehicle, Armstrong reluctantly disclosed the presence of his alleged mistress and co-founder of BitBoy Crypto, Cassie Wolfe. However, he clarified that his wife was aware of his location and activities.
